Course Offer

This year, courses for
  • piano
  • violoncello
  • voice and vocal  duo
  • fortepiano and chamber music
will be offered. 

Students who register for the course for piano with Prof. Vardi can, if interested, additionally and free of charge, participate in the fortepiano course with Prof. Zitterbart and here get to know "new" old instruments and their playing technique.  During the course, the following fortepianos are available:
  • Anton Walter ca. 1795 (copy)
  • Nannette Streicher 1816 (copy)
  • Erard 1840 (original)
  • Baptist Streicher 1857 (original)

In the first week, the corse of voice is jointly organized by professors Markus Schäfer and Jan Philipp Schulze with the repertoire from the early 18th century to the new music. in the second week, continuation with oratorios and operas, solely with Professor Schäfer.

Attendance Conditions

  • Deadline for registration is the 31st May, 2010.
  • To obtain the admittance, applicants have to submit an audio test on sound recording medium or electronically to the respective teachers.
  • The registration is valid only after the teachers' respective confirmatin of acceptance.
  • Confirmations will be mailed until 15th June, 2010, at the latest.
  • The minimum age for participants is 18 years because no liability can be taken for participants under that age.
  • The course fee is amounting to 450 € per individual partipants, for vocal duos and groups (trios, quartets and quintets 900 € each).

Further Important Information

  • Besides the audio test, applicants must provide a photo as well as a short biography. Please find further information in our registration assistance.
  • Students can only participate after receipt of the course fee.
  • The concert participation is subject to consultation with the professors.
  • Medical care is the own responsibility of the participants.
  • For the participants, compulsory liability insurance is contracted.
  • The course languages are German and English.
  • Minimum participants per course: 10 students.
  • Date of arrival is the 15th and departure date 29th August.
